This year marks an incredible 75 years since the Windrush Generation first arrived in the United Kingdom. The passengers of Windrush and the generations that followed played a pivotal role in shaping modern Britain's culture and society. And to celebrate, The Royal Mint have just released a stunning Silver Proof 50p coin - with the addition of VIVID COLOUR. A fitting tribute to the British Caribbean and Commonwealth citizens who arrived in the UK between 1948 and 1973. Struck from Sterling Silver to a Proof finish.

The reverse design features two people from the Windrush Generation stood against the Union flag - in VIVID COLOUR. The obverse design features the official portrait of King Charles III.
